This research project embarks on a comprehensive investigation into the multifaceted aspects of preserving cultural traditions and heritage within the Crimean region. The project delves into the historical context, socio-political dynamics, and contemporary challenges that influence the safeguarding of tangible and intangible cultural assets. It employs a multidisciplinary approach, drawing upon historical analysis, ethnographic fieldwork, archival research, and policy analysis to provide a nuanced understanding of the subject matter. The study explores the diverse cultural expressions of Crimean communities, including but not limited to, traditional music, dance, cuisine, crafts, and oral traditions. Furthermore, it examines the role of various stakeholders, such as local communities, governmental bodies, non-governmental organizations, and international institutions, in the preservation efforts. The project aims to identify effective strategies and best practices for the sustainable preservation of Crimean cultural heritage, considering both the specific regional context and broader global trends in cultural heritage management. It will also analyze the impact of various factors, including tourism, globalization, and conflict, on the preservation and transmission of cultural traditions.
