This research project delves into the essential role of technical English in the rapidly evolving domain of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs). The study investigates the specific linguistic requirements for effective communication within the UAV community, encompassing aspects such as pilot manuals, technical specifications, operational procedures, and research publications. The project aims to identify and analyze the common linguistic challenges faced by individuals working with UAVs, particularly those whose native language is not English. Furthermore, the research explores the significance of precision, clarity, and conciseness in technical documentation, emphasizing their impact on safety, operational efficiency, and international collaboration. The project intends to provide insights into the development of specialized English language training programs tailored to meet the needs of UAV professionals and enthusiasts. The research will also touch upon the impact of technological advancements on language usage, examining how the evolving terminology and communication styles associated with UAV systems influence the design and delivery of technical English education for this specialized field. Finally, the project envisions to contribute to better practices in the UAV industry education.
