This research project delves into the potential of Canada's rich natural resources to provide innovative and sustainable solutions for mitigating the impacts of climate change. The project seeks to identify and analyze various natural resources, including forests, wetlands, and oceans, along with their carbon sequestration capabilities, and explore the existing and potential technologies that would help to harness those resources. The study is particularly focused on identifying the most efficient, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly methods which have the potential to make a tangible effect on the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. The research includes the assessment of the current policies and practices in Canada and evaluates their effectiveness in promoting the use of natural resources in climate change mitigation programs. Furthermore, we will look into the possibilities for future development, including new technologies and policy recommendations, that would maximize the resources Canada has available while also minimizing negative environmental effects. We aim to contribute to the global effort to combat climate change by giving a thorough assessment of Canada's natural resources and the innovative strategies for successfully using them.
