This sub-section is dedicated to a detailed analysis of the biomechanics of a running step over a distance of 100 meters. The key elements of the step, such as the support phase, the transfer phase, and the stepping phase, as well as their impact on speed and running efficiency, will be considered. The work of the joints and muscles involved in each step element, and their interaction, are analyzed. Methods for assessing and improving the biomechanical parameters of running, as used in sports training, will also be considered.
